The Study Group Mathematics with Industry is a combined industrial-academic week-long workshop sponsored by NWO. Companies present problems on Monday, mathematicians -having worked on the problems for a week- present their results on Friday.

How does an algorithm distinguish between scans of healthy and unhealthy arteries? Can algorithms replace doctors? During this hands-on workshop (in Dutch), specifically designed for high school teachers in mathematics and informatics, participants will learn how mathematics plays a crucial role in medical image analysis and discover the fascinating world of machine learning in medicine.

After a 5-year break, the very successful 4TU.AMI Education Days (formerly known as InterTU Study Days) will start again! On Monday 19 May 2025, we will organise a 4TU.AMI Education Day in Utrecht. The Education Day aims at informing and inspiring university staff about the latest educational developments within mathematics education. At the same time, it facilitates experience sharing and community building. The program will follow soon, book the date in your calendar!
