Education projects

The universities within 4TU.AMI collaborate in regard to mathematics education. There are new initiatives, projects and tools.

The four universities within 4TU.AMI collaborate in regard to mathematics education. The goal of new initiatives, projects and tools is to make education more efficient and flexible and to improve didactic methods. Also, AMI has joined forces with the Matheon institute in Germany to organize the Dutch version of the Mathekalender, an annual contest with math puzzles for secondary school pupils.

Blended Learning
Developing didactics, formats and materials for blended learning and online Mathematics education.
InterTU Study Days
An annual, interuniversity community meeting for all mathematics teaching staff from the universities of Delft, Eindhoven, Twente and Wageningen.
Mathekalender
Each year in December, the digital advent calendar challenges secondary school pupils to solve 24 fascinating math puzzles.
Open Up Math
Prepare the institutions, technology and teaching community to share, find and reuse each other’s educational resources.
Teacher training
This project was aimed at the periodic training of secondary school math teachers.
Pre-university project
Promoting the connection between pre-university secondary school and academic education in the field of mathematics.
