Workshops: Exploring Innovation and Innovative Digital Questioning
Would you like to know how to use innovative adaptive questions for student assessment? Are you wondering how to apply educational innovations in your own courses? Find out in one of our workshops!
Workshop 1: Exploring innovative digital assessment questions
Digital testing and engineering exams don’t seem to match. At TU Delft we found a way that will bring digital testing and engineering exams closer together by using so called scenario-questions in MapleTA. In this workshop we will take you through the process of converting a written exam into a digital exam whilst sharing our experience in the conversion of the Materials Science exam in our test system, MapleTA. This workshop is not a MapleTA workshop, but describes the process of creating questions that fit this system. More information.
Workshop 2: Bottom up views on educational innovations in higher engineering education
During this workshop, we will go through the different aspects (definition, success and failure factors, sustainability) of educational innovations in Higher Engineering Education by working on cases with the participants in small groups. Our aim is to boost the capability and knowledge about the content and process of an educational innovation in Higher Engineering Education to help you incorporate innovations in your programme or course. More information.
