Share your experiences with modularisation!
According to the TU/e 2030 vision, one of the main aims is to change the curriculum from a course-based (ātraditionalā) engineering curriculum to a challenge-based one. For this, modularisation is crucial as it offers students opportunities to access and use knowledge modules that can be taken āat the right timeā when they work on their challenges. Moreover, in a modularised curriculum students can design their own learning trajectories with respect to their individual needs, interests and aspirations.Ā
Many course leaders/teachersĀ from different departments have innovated their courses, also by changing their courses into modular forms. The main objective of this dissemination event is to bring together the interested colleagues to present and share experiences with modularisation, in order to learn from each other and develop insights into how to move further with modularisation. Canan MesutoÄlu and Ayse Kilic, who are doing their postdoctoral research at TU/e will present their research into modularization as will hands-on-experts. Afterwards there will be plenty of room for discussion.
