4TU.Energy Community Day 2025 "Energy & Materials Transition - one and the same problem?"

Join us for the 4TU.Energy Community Day 2025 - 3 April 2025 - Amersfoort. This year's theme is "Energy & Materials Transition – one and the same problem?"

The latest developments in the science of energy transition will be presented at the third edition of the NWO NERA Energy Symposium.

5 half days workshop over 4 weeks

The conference will be held at Connect-U in Enschede on November 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Researchers, industry experts, representatives from local authorities, and consulting professionals are warmly welcome.

A 2-days PhD course to enable knowledge transfer in Energy Transition and to provide PhD community building within 4TU.

This 2-days Symposium aims to strategize and establish collaborations between the energy and horticulture sectors. Please register before 1st October 2024!

The Meet-Up will take place at a location in the centre of the Netherlands - Utrecht, from 12:00 to 18:00 with an optional funding opportunities meeting from 10:00 to 12:00. Lunch will be included for both sessions!

With multiple sustainability crises unfolding, from climate change to biodiversity loss, from increasing levels of pollution and threats to global public health to increased socio-environmental and intergenerational inequality, poverty and intersectional discrimination, from the digital divide, food and energy insecurity to forced migration and disruptive use of emerging technologies, there is a need for transforming society as well as the way in which sustainability is governed. Therefore, transformation of society and sustainability governance requires significant reordering: one that changes existing drivers and structures to drive change towards fundamentally novel systems.  

Students from the four TUs will be present with cool vehicles, demos and workshops to show children and their parents how much fun technology is and what solutions they are working on to tackle the global challenges of climate, health and more.

September 27 will be a day full of inspiration and insights for Green Hydrogen.
