After a successful first edition last year, this year Deloitte is again hosting a Future of Energy business course, AND in collaboration with 4TU. Energy and supported by the four technical universities (Delft University of TechnologyEindhoven University of TechnologyUniversity of Twente & Wageningen University & Research) specifically aimed at engineering students (MSc, 3rd year BSc and PhD's).

Now that the direction of our future energy system is clear, we need to make it happen. Companies have a big role to play in delivering this energy future by reducing emissions from their processes and providing new solutions to their customers. At Deloitte, we support many major industry players in making the transition to a more sustainable business model and help new companies to create the scale to make an impact that matters. All these companies need people who understand not only the technical aspects of the energy transition but also the business perspective to make it real. They need people who know what they are talking about when it comes to achieving the Energy Transition.

We would like to help you become the people that will make the energy transition happen.

In 4 workshops at the Deloitte offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you will gain an understanding of the business perspective of the energy transition. You will actively participate in an exciting program that covers transitioning existing large-scale industries but also drives the development of new, innovative ideas that need your help to accelerate. Next to the 4 workshops, you will work in groups of ~6 on new, innovative ideas and pitch these ideas at a festive final workshop where a panel of experts will select the winning idea. At the end of the course, all participants will receive a certificate of accomplishment.
