NWO has published a new call, providing funding for ‘smaller’ PPP-projects.

In short:
Total budget: 7,5mln€.
Project budget: a minimum of €250.000 and a maximum of €750.000 of NWO funding can be applied for. With this, NWO finances maximally 50% of the total project budget; the rest of the funding must be contributed by the compulsory co-funding. NWO never funds less than 50% of the total project budget.
Project duration: minimum 2 years and maximum 6 years.
Consortium: One main applicant and one or more co-applicants from at least two knowledge institutions. Full, associate and assistant professors, lectors and other researchers with similar positions may act as main or co-applicants if they have a tenured position (and therefore have a paid employment contract for an indefinite period of time) or have a tenure track agreement.
Deadline submission: Full proposal, 5 November 2024 14:00 hrs. (No pre-proposal)
Granting: Expected in June 2025.
