Alina Huldtgren

Alina worked as a Senior Researcher at University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Mixed Reality & Visualizations Lab and previously as an Assistant Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Human-Technology Interaction group. Her research focuses on the role of digital media and tangible interfaces in reminiscence systems for people with dementia and she is involved in a number of studies on exploring seniors’ acceptance of different new technologies (such as smartWatches, ambient lighting systems). Alina has a particular interest in the ethical aspects of technologies for health, wellbeing and care and designing value sensitive systems that take into account different stakeholders’ perspectives.
