Karolina Kudlek

Profile

Karolina Kudlek is a postdoc at the Utrecht University.

She was a Ph.D. candidate at the Philosophy Department of Twente University and a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy Zagreb. She is especially interested in how contemporary ethical theories can provide guidance for the evaluation of new and emerging technologies, particularly human enhancement technologies. Karolina is currently working on her Ph.D. dissertation concerning the moral permissibility of biomedical moral enhancement. She is a member of the research project Harm, Intentions, and Responsibility, where she investigates the role of harm in the context of moral enhancement. Karolina obtained a B.A. and M.A. degree in philosophy from the University of Zagreb. Her general research interests are ethics, bioethics, philosophy of technology, and moral psychology.
