Center for Environmental and Technology Ethics - Prague (CETE-P) led by the ERA Chair prof. Mark Coeckelbergh is looking for experienced postdoctoral researchers interested in applying for a two-year Marie SkĹodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) in the area of environmental and/or technology ethics hosted at CETE-P.
About CETE-PÂ
We are a Horizon Europe funded research centre at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague that examines new ethical challenges posed by the intersection of the growing use of technologies and the current ecological problems, including climate change, loss of biodiversity, issues in Anthropocene, role of AI, and many others.Â
We are a growing international team of researchers working on various topics in philosophy of technology, tech ethics, environmental philosophy and ethics, political philosophy and feminist theory. We seek to bring together academics, NGOs, policymakers, and businesses to discuss and solve the most pressing ethical issues concerning the environment and new technologies. Support for selected candidates
Selected candidates will be guided by senior grant specialists of the Institute of Philosophy through the MSCA PF application process. They will also receive feedback from CETE-P researchers on the research idea of their application as well as full administrative and technical support from CETE-P project team. They will be invited to participate in an online workshop for MSCA PF candidates.

Greater success rates for EU Widening countries
CETE-P has a track record of successfully supporting previous MSCA PF applications. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships located in the Czech Republic (and other âWidening countriesâ) have greater success rates due to specific allocation of Horizon funds towards this region.Â
