PhD in Ethics of smart city technologies

The Institute for Ethics in Technology (www.tuhh.de/ethics) at Hamburg University of Technology is seeking a full-time Doctoral Researcher  (pay group 13 TV-L; 100%). The successful candidate will conduct an independent research project on the ethics of smart city technologies, preferably focusing on aspects such as privacy, safety, fairness, and/or communication.

We offer personalised support to our doctoral researchers, ensuring seamless integration into our team. We also actively support joint international supervision, research visits, conference participation, and publications.
