IDEA, the Ethics Centre at the University of Leeds, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025-26. As part of our celebrations we will be holding a large conference on the future of practical ethics.

We are now issuing a third call for papers. Papers/talks can be on any topic within practical and applied ethics, but we are particularly interested in papers that relate to the following themes:
- AI, data and technology ethics
- ethical issues concerning the arts and heritage
- biomedical ethics
- environmental ethics
- leadership and organisational ethics
- ethical issues concerning love, sex and relationships
- war and peaceand
- the future style and mode of practical ethics teaching and research itself - e.g. how ethics is taught to non-philosophy students and professionals
