WP2: Sustainable sensor device oriented for agricultural applications

Description: Recently, passive elements have been used to create battery-less, wirelessly powered sensors. These sensors have the advantage of not requiring any active electronics to function. In this work package, we will develop a fabrication platform that will allow the development of this type of wirelessly powered passive sensor. There will be a particular emphasis on the type of biodegradable materials used to fabricate passive electronic components and how to combine the different materials to achieve a sensor. To demonstrate feasibility, this work package will deliver a set of passive wirelessly powered sensors for agricultural applications.
