4TU.High-Tech MaterialsĀ focuses on the visibility of theĀ interdisciplinary technologicalĀ field ofĀ materials science, not only for academics, but also for students to make them aware of the possibilities, the challenges and the importance of the field.
Research topics differ widely, but many MSc and Phd students in materials science share a common physical and chemical background and interest, as well as the use of advanced testing and analysis method. Summer schools,Ā graduate courses, and relevant skill courses will strengthen the background of the students and will be beneficial for establishing contacts between young scientists, and within the field.
