4TU.HTM Funding for
Joint Materials Science Activities
* * Currently, we are reconsidering the policy regarding the 4TU.HTM Funding for Joint Materials Science Activities. If you would like to submit a request, please contact us first (email address below). * *
The 4TU.Centre High-Tech Materials aims to stimulate and intensify the academic education, research and development on materials through new collaborations. To achieve this goal 4TU.HTM allocated a substantial part of its budget in 2022-2025 for initiatives that will inspire scientists and students from the Universities of Technology of Eindhoven and Delft, the University of Twente, Wageningen University & Research, and the University of Groningen to develop joint activities and to share knowledge within this field.
Within this framework, limited budget is available for the organisation of master classes, (international) conferences, symposia, summer schools, graduate courses, cross-lab activities and other small events or initiatives.
Suggestions for such initiatives, organized by more than one of the five universities within 4TU.HTM, include:
- Joint Workshops

Therefore, the Scientific Director of 4TU.HTM invites you to submit proposals for joint events or initiatives that
- bring materials scientists from different universities within 4TU together to strengthen the field
by:
- extending (international) contacts;
- optimizing the use of experimental facilities;
- attracting attention to materials science;
- involving students.
