Track 1
Contrast-enhanced plane wave imaging allows for ultrafast imaging at thousands of frames per second and has the potential for precision tissue characterization, as well as for multiparameter blood flow characterization at a super-resolved spatial scale. The technical challenge of this hitherto unexplored field is bridging the sparse ultrasound and photoacoustic contrast data that is collected through the newest massive parallel GPU computing techniques, with machine learning algorithms to come to optimal choices to build new non-linear imaging schemes.
